Lexus is expanding the lineup of the IS series for the 2024 model year, offering more options for buyers who are in the market for luxury sedans like the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Therefore, the 2024 Lexus IS offers updated appearance packages.
The IS range continues to consist of three models:
Firstly, the IS 300, IS 350, and IS 500. However, buyers now have more flexibility in configuring their preferred model. For the rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants of the IS 300, there is now an optional F Sport Design Package available. This package includes 19-inch F Sport alloy wheels and F Sport Design exterior emblems, enhancing the visual appeal of the vehicle. It is important to note that this package primarily focuses on aesthetics rather than performance enhancements. Additionally, the full-fledged F Sport Package is now offered on the IS 300, providing all the elements of the F Sport Design Package while also adding F Sport-specific heated and ventilated front seats, aluminum pedal caps, and a heated steering wheel branded with the F Sport logo.
Lexus also mentions that customers who choose the IS 300 and decide not to opt for the F Sport Package can now select a unique color option called Grecian Water.
F Sport Package Exclusivity
Secondly, the IS 350, which is exclusively available with the F Sport Package, buyers now have access to a new paint color named Incognito. For those who choose the optional Handling Package, there is an additional offering for the 2024 model year called the Blackout Package. This package includes 19-inch BBS forged alloy wheels finished in black, black door mirror caps with dark chrome trim, dark chrome trim around the windows, and the Lexus Memory Package.
Lastly, the range-topping IS 500, powered by a V8 engine, now comes standard with black door mirror caps featuring dark chrome trim. The Incognito paint color is also available for the IS 500, and the Special Appearance Package, which was offered in 2023 and limited to 150 units in North America, makes its return.
Finally, Lexus dealers are expected to start receiving the 2024 Lexus IS shortly, which offers updated appearance packages at an increased price.
