Into the future with Cadillac as they reveal their 2025 CT5

Cadillac has taken a bold step into the future by unveiled the refreshed 2025 CT5 sedan at the 2023 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The new CT5 features updated styling and improved technology.

The most noticeable changes can be seen at the front of the vehicle. The grille has been redesigned and enlarged, with a gloss black finish and chrome accents. The Sport model comes with a mean-looking gloss black mesh design. The vertical LED signature lighting has been lengthened and redesigned, accompanied by updated stacked LED headlights. The rear of the CT5 has also been improved with upgraded lighting. In addition, two new paint finishes, Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic, have been introduced for the 2025 model.

A Driver Centric Cockpit

The interior of the 2025 CT5 focuses on a driver-centric cockpit. The highlight is the new 33-inch curved display, which serves as both the infotainment system and instrument panel. This high-definition LED screen offers touchscreen functionality on the right side, as well as to the left of the steering wheel. The display incorporates Google Built-In technologies such as Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play which firmly puts this car into the future.

Technology to Play a Key Role

There are also several new technology features in the 2025 CT5. It offers a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot for enhanced connectivity and includes Amazon Alexa Built-In. The driver assistance technology has been upgraded, with standard blind-spot steering assist, intersection automatic emergency braking, improved lane-keep assist, and available road sign recognition. The Super Cruise system, which allows for hands-off and hands-on driving, has also been improved.

Under the hood, the CT5 retains the same engines as before. The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine generates 335 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. The CT5 is available with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. It offers selectable drive modes, including Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and customizable MyMode.

The exact trim structure and pricing has not been confirmed. Production of the 2025 Cadillac CT5 is expected to begin in spring of 2024. No details about V or Blackwing versions, but promises exciting updates for high performance models in the future.
